Thank you for coming. Since you've found your way to this page, I'm guessing you'd like to know a little about me... Well, as you may have already guessed, my name is Jen Stackpole and I am a singer/songwriter. I currently reside on this lovely planet we call Earth.  In short, I love music. It's not what I do, it's who I am and I'm very grateful you've taken the time to stop by and check me out. I hope you enjoy the music! 

If you'd like to know more about me - stay tuned. I'll post a little bit here on this website, more in my blogs and notes, and even more in my songs. Truth be told, the best way to get to know me is to listen to my music. I'm not shy in what I write about and no person, place or topic is 'safe'. No idea or experience is off limits. If I've gone through it, I've written about it and, if you get to know me in person, you'll probably wind up in a song. 

I've been involved with music in one way or another forever - and, yes, I know that forever is a very long time. However, I can't remember a time in my life when music wasn't my biggest love. Throughout all of my crazy adventures, mis-adventures, life lessons and loves lost, music has always been one of the only things that has made sense. To me, music = love and, in my mind (and heart), love is all there is.

Another reason I love music so much is because it is simply completely groovy. Sound has a way of uniting people and I like to think of music as a way for us all to talk to each other and be connected as one. Have you ever found yourself at a concert and, all of a sudden, it seems as if you've become the best of friends with your fellow concert-going neighbor? Before you know it, you're singing and clapping along together, collectively cheering on your favorite artist. Music has a way of allowing us to break down our walls - it allows us to let down our guard and let other people - and, of course love - in.

So, here we are - you and I (or is it you and me? I apologize, but grammar is not my specialty). Me - a singer/songwriter/musician and lover of life, love, music and You - a fellow music lover. And maybe you're also a musician, an artist, a writer, a doctor, a teacher, or an underwater basket weaver. Whatever your passion is, I sincerely hope you're living it. I'm glad we get to be on this journey together and thank you so much for making me a part of your musical life!
